Course Description
Program Description The study of Kinesiology, now a regulated health profession in Ontario, will prepare you with the knowledge and skills to utilize physical activity in the treatment and prevention of injury and chronic disease. You will learn how to prescribe individualized exercise programs to improve or maintain health, functional capacity and well-being of a range of healthy and clinical populations. Trent University collaborates with the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) to deliver this comprehensive program, in which the first two years are completed at Trent’s Peterborough campus, and years three and four at UOIT in Oshawa. You will have an opportunity to apply for internship placements in your fourth year of study.
